چکیده

NASA's Soil Moisture Active Passive (SMAP) mission originally included both passive and active L-band measurement capability. It was the first satellite instrument to provide global radar observations of normalized cross section ( $\sigma ^{o}$ ) at multiple resolutions. The SMAP collected high resolution notation="LaTeX">$\sim$ 1–3 km) synthetic aperture (SAR) measurements over most Earth's land mass. simultaneously low 6×30 km “slice” full-footprint 29×35 measurements. operated for 83 days from day year 103 186 in 2015, before transmitter failed. designed make vegetation roughness support primary measure soil moisture, but data is useful a variety applications, particularly polar regions. construction and validation of the translation teacher competency test and the scale of students’ perceptions of translation teachers

the major purpose of this study was to develop the translation teacher competency test (ttct) and examine its construct and predictive validity. the present study was conducted in two phases: a qualitative phase as well as a quantitative phase. in the first phase of the study, the author attempted to find out the major areas of competency required for an academic translation teacher. the second...

investigation of effective parameters on the rigidity of light composite diaphragms (psscb) by fem

High-Resolution Widesweep Backscatter Ionograms

Introduction: High frequency (HF) over-the-horizon radar (OTHR) relies on the refraction of electromagnetic waves by the ionosphere to detect targets at very long ranges, typically more than 500 nmi (see Fig. 1). A fundamental aspect of successful target detection is the selection of an appropriate operating frequency to ensure a large amount of backscatter energy at the desired surveillance ra...

The effect of focal spot size on the spatial resolution of variable resolution X-ray CT scanner

Background: A variable resolution X-ray (VRX) CT scanner provides a great increase in the spatial resolution. In VRX CT scanners, the spatial resolution of the system and its field of view (FOV) can be changed according to the object size. One of the main factors that limit the spatial resolution of VRX CT scanner is the effect of the X-ray focal spot. Materials and Methods: A theoreti...

Geometric Validation of Terrasar-x High-resolution Products

Switzerland's diversity of flat, rolling and Alpine terrain makes it ideal territory for geometric validation studies. We describe here two parallel investigations of TerraSAR-X (TSX) high-resolution data: geometric validation and estimation of the tropospheric path delay using measurements of corner reflectors (CRs) placed at different altitudes but nearly identical ranges. Geometric validatio...
